Chandigarh Lawyer Files PIL Comparing PUBG Mobile to Drugs
Since its introduction on smartphones, PUBG Mobile has seen enormous growth and has become something of a sensation in India. In his PIL, advocate HC Arora compared the popular battle royale game to drugs, and said "School going children who are losing involvement in studies have become fond to the game. The parents of such children are helpless. In instance they insist the children to terminate playing it, they become aggressive and go into depression."
There have been multiple cases of children getting aggressive when asked by their parents or guardians to limit their time playing the game, and some really bizarre cases of PUBG Mobile love as well, withal a ban on the game doesn't seem to exist the all-time way to become about it.
The PIL was filed with the Punjab and Haryana High Court, which forwarded the request to the Union Ministry of Electronics and It asking for a decision representation on a PUBG ban. According to VK Trivedi, the director of cyber laws and security at the Wedlock Ministry of Electronics and It, "The loftier court's direction to consider and make a conclusion representation for banning "PUBG" is under examination by the ministry building."
